Police: Gentry teacher faces sex assault charge

December 8, 2008 GENTRY (AP) - A private school teacher in Gentry faces a felony sexual assault charge after police say he had sexual contact with a student in his office. Thomas Hayden McDonald, 24, teaches and coaches a sports team at the Seventh Day Adventist Academy in Gentry. Police said they began their investigation last week after the school's vice principal called detectives over another student saying McDonald had become "sexually involved" with one of his pupils.

Judge to review records order

December 8, 2008 LITTLE ROCK (AP) - A Little Rock District Court judge said today he will review and revise a gag order he made involving the suspect in the slaying of a television anchorwoman. Judge Lee Munson said he will change an order sealing jail records for Curtis Lavelle Vance, 28, accused in the death of KATV anchorwoman Anne Pressly. Munson issued an order last week sealing records that included Vance's roster entry at the Pulaski County jail, as well as logs of who visited him.

About 200 39th Infantry Brigade troops come home
