For years rumors have circulated about the legendary White River Monster and now it’s no longer a rumor.
This morning, long before daylight, a worker at Lock and Dam 1 spotted something suspicious in the river.
After getting a closer look the man, who has yet to be identified, “nearly fainted,” he said when he saw a larger-than-life configuration thrashing around in the water.
Even in fear, he couldn’t take his eyes off it.
The creature was described “as big as a boxcar” and “as wide as three automobiles.”
