• Couple to celebrate 25th

    Jim and Rhonda Reddock of Batesville will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary Monday.
    Rhonda Kay Duke and James Floyd Reddock were married Sept. 15, 1984, at South Orlando Baptist Church in Orlando, Fla., by the Rev. John McKinney.
    They have a son, J.T. Reddock of Batesville; a daughter, Jessica Rose of Batesville; and two grandchildren, Lilly Kay Rose and Jayci May Reddock, both of Batesville.
    A celebratory trip to Branson, Mo., is planned.

  • Rutledges to mark 60th anniversary

    NEWPORT — Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rutledge will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Train Depot in Newport.
    Mr. Rutledge is retired from Rutledge Electric, a company he started 50 years ago. Mrs. Rutledge, the former Vernadene McDoniel, retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years of service. They are long-time members of Holden Avenue Church of Christ.

    CAVE CITY — Norman and Lola Sensabaugh of Cave City will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 12 in the River Room of the Ramada Inn in Batesville.
    Lola Eubanks and Norman Sensabaugh were married Sept. 9, 1959, at First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Edgar Sutton officiating.
    They have a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Tanya Sensabaugh of Cave City; a daughter, Tammy Conyers of Cave City; and three grandsons, Morgan Sensabaugh of Irving, Texas, and Caleb Conyers and Mason Sensabaugh, both of Cave City.

    Dale and Barbara Dunn of Batesville have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, RaeAnn Dunn, to Jon Carter, son of Ron and Nancy Carter of Sulphur Rock.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of George Smith of Weiner and the late Jean Smith and Joyce Dunn of Newport and the late J.W. Dunn.
    She is a 2004 Batesville High School graduate and a 2009 University of Tennessee Health Science Center graduate with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. She is a registered dental hygienist for Higginbotham Family Dentistry in Jonesboro.

    They have three children, Charles Ashcraft and his wife, Laura, of Springfield, Mo.; Steven Ashcraft of Ghana, Africa, and Linda Latus and her husband, George, of Sulphur Rock; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
