Hail and Faye Bryant of Batesville are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today.
Alpha Faye Middlecoff and Hail Bryant were married Dec. 22, 1949, at Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. Jim Wooten.
The couple will have a small celebration with their friends, Joe and Rita Gotham.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Cave City High School and a 2009 graduate of Arkansas State University, where she received a degree in journalism with an emphasis in photography. She is pursuing a master’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Teresa Elkins of Cave City and granddaughter of Madeline Elkins of Tuckerman and Ola James of Ravenden. She graduated from Arkansas State University at Jonesboro with a bachelor of science in education in middle school education and currently teaches seventh-grade math at Cave City Middle School.
