James and Eva Royal of Evening Shade will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday November 21 at the Evening Shade School cafeteria.
James Royal and Eva Wilson were married Nov. 25, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa. They have two daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Jimmy Stroud of Hector and Kathleen and Scott Phillips of Gardendale Ala.; and one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Kelley Wilson of Dover; and six grandchildren.
He is a retired carpenter and she works for Walmart in Ash Flat.
MELBOURNE — Elizabeth Cooper of Melbourne and Justin Daigle of Mount Pleasant have announced their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Katherine Sellers and Paul Lee were married Nov. 1, 1959, at Shaw Baptist Church in Shaw, Miss., with the Rev. Warren Tynes officiating.
They are retired and enjoy visiting with family and friends, especially their grandchildren. They are members of Midway Baptist Church.

JONESBORO — Bill and Hattie Cremeens of Jonesboro will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Southwest Church of Christ in Jonesboro, 1601 James St., Entrance #13.
Bill Cremeens and Hattie Stout were married Nov. 13, 1949 in Pocahontas by Cecil Wilson.
They have four children: Guy Cremeens and Don Cremeens of Jonesboro, Gary Cremeens of Paragould and the late Steve Cremeens, formerly of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The event will be hosted by the couple’s children and grandchildren.

They were married Nov. 14, 1964, in Ocean Springs, Miss.
They are retired and enjoy helping their son, Adam, raise cattle in Floral.
