Patricia Blakey and Arlie Strong were married Nov. 18, 1960, in Springfield, Mo., with the Rev. Paul Luckey officiating.
Mr. Strong is a retired Assembly of God minister who enjoys researching his Cherokee heritage. Mrs. Stron, is a homemaker who loves to paint, sew and garden.
Don and Elah Campbell will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with their family on Thanksgiving Day at the home of their daughter, Denise Arms, in Charlotte.
Elah May Jennings and Donnie Lee Campbell were married Nov. 24, 1960, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Vicksburg, Miss., by the Rev. Gene Blailock.
They lived in West Memphis for 44 years before moving to Charlotte five years ago.
Dawn Bruni of Batesville and Gary Stueve of Hardy have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Lynae McMillan, to Michael Anthony Franks, son of Tony and Janis Franks of Batesville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Norma Curtis of Cherokee Village and the late Norman and Georgia Busse of Ozark Acres.
She is a 1993 graduate of Sulphur Rock High School and a 1994 graduate of Gateway Technical College with a degree in nursing. She is a cook at the Senior Citizens Center in Batesville.
EVENING SHADE — Tony and Kaye Stuntz of Evening Shade will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary with a reception at 1 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church in Evening Shade.
Kaye Carter and Tony Stuntz were married Nov. 3, 1990, at First Baptist Church in Evening Shade.
They have five children, Andrea Stuntz, Paul Stuntz, Seth Stuntz, Samuel Stuntz and Charity Stuntz.
The reception will be hosted by their friends and family.

CAVE CITY — Clell and Betty Wilson of Cave City will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Eastside Baptist Church in Cave City.
Betty Conyers and Clell Wilson were married Nov. 4, 1960, in Decatur, Ill.
Mr. Wilson is a construction worker and paint contractor. Mrs. Wilson worked for White-Rodgers for 29 years. They enjoy square dancing and are members of Eastside Baptist Church.
They have two daughters, Tina Langston of Cave City and Tonya Smith of Batesville.
CALAMINE — Robby and Annette Mize of Calamine have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kimberly Ann Mize, to James Brady Melton, son of James and Melinda Melton of Batesville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Shirley Rudd of Newark and the late Marshall Rudd and Mary Beth Mize of Calamine and the late Leland E. Mize.
She is a 2006 graduate of Hillcrest High School and is pursuing a degree in early childhood education at Lyon College. She is employed at Batesville Therapy Clinic.

The wedding was held outside on the porch of the home of the bride and groom, which is located in the Pine Hill community of Cushman, amid colorful fall decorations.

They were married Oct. 21, 1960 in the home of and by the Rev. Sherman Liles in Drasco and lived in Batesville most of their lives.
They are the parents of David McCarty of Drasco and Lynn (Lana) McCarty of Batesville. They also have two grandchildren, Dayton McCarty of Drasco and Savannah McCarty of Batesville.

STRAWBERRY — Baudie and Ruth L. Harp of Hoxie will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the fellowship building of Hoxie Church of Christ.
Born and raised in Strawberry, Baudie Harp and the former Ruth L. Roberts were married Oct. 26, 1940, in Strawberry. The couple has four sons — Junior Harp of Hoxie, Gary Harp of Newport, the late Edward Harp and the late Jerry Harp, both deceased.
They also have 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Glynn and Peggy Fuller will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Ramsey Heights Baptist Church Family Life Center.
Peggy Crutchfield and Glynn Fuller were married Oct. 21, 1960, by the Rev. George M. Roberts at his home in Rosie.
Mr. Fuller worked for Batesville Manufacturing for several years and was also in the building supplies business in Batesville for years. Mrs. Fuller retired after 28 years as a hair stylist in Newark and Batesville.
