ASH FLAT — Robert and Rose Cunningham of Ash Flat have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Gina Cunningham, to Gene Lovins, son of Bonnie Lovins of Evening Shade and the late John Lovins.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. Dec. 4 at Powell’s Chapel United Methodist Church near Poughkeepsie.
A reception will follow at the couple’s home in Evening Shade.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robert Terrell of Batesville and the late June Terrell and Houston Case of Brookhaven, Miss., and the late Thelma Case.

Betty Brooks and Delmas Johnson were married Nov. 26, 1960, in Rosie.
They have two sons, Blane Johnson and his wife, Suzzette, of Brockwell and the late Kevin Johnson and his wife, Tammy, of Melbourne; seven grandchildren, Lacy Weston and her husband, Anthony, of Little Rock, Ryan Killian of Memphis, Jill Johnson and Caleb Johnson, both of Melbourne, Keaton Johnson of Conway and Avery Johnson and Emily Johnson, both of Brockwell.

Mrs. Kunkel is the daughter of the late Will and Marie Ables of Evening Shade. She has been employed in the lunch room at Evening Shade Math and Science campus for 34 years.

Dee Twilley and Bob Webb were married Nov. 19, 1960, in Kansas City, Mo., by the Rev. Monroe Vaughn.
Mr. Webb worked for General Motors in Kansas City and Boeing Aircraft in Melbourne. Mrs. Webb worked for Bendix Corporation in Kansas City and taught English at schools in Violet Hill and Batesville and at Ozarka College.
