    Gene and Faye England will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Thursday.
    Faye Wallace and Gene England were married Oct. 7, 1950, at a Methodist minister’s home in Caraway.
    Mr. England is the son of Jessie and Essie England and worked as a farmer. He plays the steel, bass and electric guitars and enjoys playing various musical instruments at Jesus is the Way Church in Magness.
    Mrs. England is the daughter of James and Nellie Wallace. She worked as a 911 police dispatcher for the city of Batesville for almost 28 years before retiring in 2005.

    Mr. Ring grew up in Cave City. He worked at International Shoe Factory for 22 years and at White River Medical Center for four years. Mrs. Ring grew up in Strawberry. She worked as a home daycare mother for 26 years. They are members of First Free Will Baptist Church.
