    DALLAS — James and Connie Baird of Dallas have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Sara Baird, to Anthony Rhodes, son of Gary and Rita Rhodes of Batesville.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of James Baird and Janell Alexander, both of Rockwall, Texas.
    She received a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies from Texas A&M University. She is a kindergarten teacher in Dallas.
