SOUTHSIDE — Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wilson of Southside will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary today.
They were married Aug. 24, 1951, at Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church.
They have three children, Pat Moser and James Wilson, both of Cave City, and Teresa Young of Salado.
The couple will have a private celebration.
CORD — John and Jenneal Runsick of Cord have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jill Runsick, to Anthony Coles, son of Johnny and Regina Coles of Batesville and Rebecca Broadaway of Conway.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of William and Carole Runsick of Batesville and Katherine Johnston of Tuckerman and the late J.A. Johnston.
She received a bachelor of science in education from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
Mike and Jennifer Neal of Batesville have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristi Nicole Neal, to Christopher Seth Henderson, son of Johnny and Cindy Henderson of Newport and Robert and Gaye Hall of Newark.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Phyllis Dunegan of Batesville and the late J.L. Dunegan and Dorthy Neal of West Memphis and the late James Whayne Neal.
She is a 2006 graduate of Batesville High School and a 2007 graduate of BeeJay’s Hair Styling Academy of Batesville. She is employed at Allure Grand Salon and Day Spa in Newport.
Hayden and Fern McClure will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 25.
Fern Shaw and Hayden McClure were married Aug. 25, 1951, in a home wedding in Newark. The Rev. Clyde Hance officiated.
The McClures moved in Memphis in 1955. Mr. McClure retired from Kellogg’s Cereal Company in Memphis. Mrs. McClure retired as a hairstylist after 29 years. They moved to Batesville after retirement.
CONWAY — Kayla Johnson and Joel Rogers were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony June 11 at Greene Chapel on the campus of Hendrix College in Conway.
The Rev. Vic Nixon officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Paula and Greg Moser and William “Dub” and Fonda Johnson, all of Batesville. The groom’s parents are Josie Barry of Batesville and Doyle “Rog” and Carolyn Rogers of Little Rock.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Eulos Nicholas and the late Delois Nicholas and Paul Steele and the late Mary Steele, all of Newark.
She is a 2001 graduate of Newark High School, a 2005 graduate of Lyon College with a bachelor of science in biology and a 2009 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry with a doctorate of dental surgery.
JONESBORO — Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Gilbert of Jonesboro will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 20 in the Crowley’s Ridge Room of Holiday Inn, located at 3006 South Caraway Road in Jonesboro.
Janie Whitten of Evening Shade and Jerry Gilbert of Bay were married Aug. 18, 1961, at Nettleton Church of Christ. Jack Lawhon officiated the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Haley of Batesville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a dinner with family and friends Saturday in Little Rock.
Mary Ann Burns and Howard Haley were married Aug. 13, 1961, at the home of the bride’s parents in North Little Rock. Dr. W.O. Vaught Jr., pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church, performed the ceremony.
Mr. Haley is a retired owner and operator of the Bonanza Sirloin Pit in Sherwood. Mrs. Haley is a registered nurse and is retired from Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in Little Rock.
