CAVE CITY — Jim and Viola Kistner of Cave City celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 26.
Viola Fisher and Jim Kistner were married Aug. 26, 1951, in Wildwood, N.J.
Mr. Kistner was owner/operator of Jim’s Business Machines in Cave City for many years. Mrs. Kistner has been a homemaker for many years. They have been active ministers as Jehovah’s Witnesses for 42 years. They enjoy spending time together.
CAVE CITY — Todd and Tammy Foreman of Cave City have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Alysha Dawn Foreman, to Matthew Jordan Bradley, son of Tim and Linda Bradley of Sidney.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Donald and Sharon Crow, Boyce and Linda Foreman and Paul and Betty Massey, all of Cave City.
She is a 2008 graduate of Cave City High School. She is employed by Dr. Ron Bates.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Emogene Wilkins of Cave City and the late Cicero Turner and Ray and Jo Bradley of Sidney.
Jeanene Vanderpool and Daniel Vanderpool, both of Batesville, have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Lee Vanderpool, to Dustin Wayne Smith, son of Kenny and Vickie Smith of Batesville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jeannette Cooper and Donald and Joan Cooper, all of Batesville, and Jeannette Vanderpool of California and the late Jessy Vanderpool.
She is a 2006 graduate of Southside High School. She is employed by Peco Foods of Batesville.
CAVE CITY — Rex and Elizabeth “Beth” Gaither of Cave City will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Friday.
Beth Simpson and Rex Gaither were married Sept. 9, 1951, at Sidney Baptist Church.
Mr. Gaither retired from Firestone Store in Noblesville, Ind. Mrs. Gaither retired from Dr. William C. Beller’s office and worked for Dr. Ben Bromley in Noblesville for several years before moving back to Batesville. They are members of Cave City First Methodist Church.
Dr. Robert and Patsy Craig of Batesville are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary today.
Patsy Jean Chamberlain and Robert Craig were married Sept. 2, 1946, at the courthouse in Batesville.
They have four children, Mary Storey and her husband, Bud, of Little Rock, Carol Jones and her husband, Mike, of Green Forest and Susie Carter and her husband, Bob, and Sarah Bolin, all of Batesville; nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
EAGLE RIVER, Wis. — Jamie Ritzer and Anthony Anston were united in marriage July 30 at Eagle River Inn at Eagle River, Wis.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Mary Ritzer. The groom’s parents are Eugene and Hazel Anston.
A reception will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall of Highland First Assembly of God, located at 33 Meadowbrook Drive in Highland.

Betty Allen and Logan Branscum were married July 21, 1961, in an Allen Chapel home. The Rev. H.A. Lewis officiated.
Mr. Branscum worked at National Automotive Parts Association as a machinist for more than 30 years. Mrs. Branscum retired from Lyon College after 25 years of service.
