• Couple to mark anniversary

    CAVE CITY — Dale and Nina Mobley will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a drop-in reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at their home on Highway 167 just outside Cave City.
    Nina J. Andrews and Garland Dale Mobley Sr. were married June 25, 1951, at Evening Shade.
    They have three children, Jackie Hunter and her husband, Max, the late Garland Mobley Jr. and his wife, Jamie, and Wendy Johnson and her husband, Grey; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
    The couple requests no gifts.

    The bride-elect is the daughter of Bob and Myrl Smith of Cullman, Ala. She is a licensed practical nurse at the office of Dr. Marcus O’Brien.
