• Stuarts to celebrate golden anniversary

    Clyde and Donna Stuart of Batesville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Faith-Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located at 3895 Harrison St. in Batesville.
    Donna Martin and Clyde Stuart were married Sept. 23, 1961, in Pleasant Plains. The Rev. Thomas Meharg officiated.
    Mr. Stuart retired from the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service. Mrs. Stuart is a retired beauty consultant.
    They have a daughter, Stacy Stuart of Jonesboro.
