A voice for Caden; Local boy receives an iPad to help him communicate
MOOREFIELD — Two years ago Bartley and Tammy Hillis delivered their fourth child, a son they named Caden. Shortly after delivering, Tammy says her instincts told her something was wrong. He didn’t cry after he was born.
Initially, she thought his nose was broken. “He was wheezing,” Tammy recalled.
He looked gray and she insisted they check his oxygen level. “The nurse took him and never brought him back,” Tammy said. -
